Box Score MONTCLAIR, NJ – Rutgers University-Newark fell to No. 10 ranked Montclair State, 4-0, on Senior Night in the MSU Soccer Park as the Red Hawks wrapped up the New Jersey Athletic Conference regular-season title.
The Scarlet Raiders (12-6-2, NJAC 4-4-1) completed the best conference season in the program's 15-year history against the Red Hawks (16-1-1, NJAC 8-0-1) who finished first in the 10-team league for the third straight season.

Montclair State held pregame ceremonies for 10 seniors who have helped the Red Hawks dominate league play for the past three seasons.
Rutgers-Newark will now get ready for its first NJAC Championship Tournament appearance on Saturday at 2 p.m. when the sixth-seeded Raiders visit No.3 Richard Stockton (13-7-0, NJAC 7-2-0) in the G. Larry James Stadium. The Raiders dropped a 2-1 decision to the Ospreys on October 11 in Galloway. The winner will advance to the semifinals of the 6-team championship against No. 2 The College of New Jersey on November 5 in Ewing.
