Box Score NEWARK, NJ – Rutgers University-Newark shut down Mount Saint Vincent's attack to post a 3-0 win under the lights of Alumni Field.

Paige Lazar and pushed a short pass into the middle of the box to junior midfielder
Sara Corson. Corson fired the ball low into the right side for the game winner just 11:26 into the contest.
Just four and a half minutes later, Raider junior forward
Sara Ramirez broke away on a dribble down the left side and looped a perfect cross to the right side of the box to freshman midfielder
Sabrina Solorzano who one-time a shot into the right side of the goal.
Estremera capped the scoring by firing a high, hard shot from the middle of the 18 which got through Dolphin freshman goalkeeper Elizabeth Martin's grasp with just over two minutes remaining.
Rutgers-Newark dominated play with a 27-13 edge in shots and an 8-1 advantage in corner kicks against Mount Saint Vincent which dropped its second straight 3-0 decision after a 5-0-0 start. Coming into the contest, the Dolphins had allowed just four goals and 37 shots on the season.
Aviles, who now has allowed just two goals while making 15 saves in 320 minutes between the pipes, got some help in preserving the shutout from Corson. In the 85th minute, Dolphin freshman forward Megan DeRosa put a header past Aviles which was headed into the right side of the goal, but Corson knifed through behind Aviles to send the shot off to the right side.
Rutgers-Newark travels to Rowan (6-2-0, NJAC 1-0) on Saturday at 3 o'clock for a New Jersey Athletic Conference match.
