NEWARK, N.J. (October 2, 2015) - The Rutgers University-Newark women's soccer match versus New Jersey City University will be played at Alumni Field in Newark on Saturday at 2 p.m.

The match was originally schedule to be played at NJCU at 1 p.m. but with heavy rain in the forecast, the game will now be contested at R-N and it's FieldTurf surface. The Gothic Knights play on a natural grass field that most likely will be unplayable Saturday.

Rutgers-Newark is 9-3-0 overall and 1-2-0 in the conference after defeating Ramapo College by a score of 3-0 Wednesday afternoon in what was the team's fifth shutout of the season. NJCU is 3-5-1 overall and 0-2-0 in the conference after an 8-0 loss at Kean University Wednesday.

The Scarlet Raiders have won the last three meetings between the two rivals, including a 3-0 shutout in 2014.
