NEWARK, N.J. (September 11, 2015) - The Rutgers University-Newark men's soccer program will host the 2015 Scarlet Raider Soccer Classic this weekend - September 12 & 13 - on Alumni Field in Newark, N.J. The four-team field is filled with perennial powers and brand names in the world of Division III men's soccer as Johns Hopkins University, New York University and The College of New Jersey will all be in action.

The four teams have a combined mark of 12-4-0 so far this season. Host Rutgers-Newark is on a two-match winning streak, earning victories over No. 19 SUNY Cortland and John Jay by a combined score of 11-2.
