INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (September 22, 2015)
– The Rutgers University-Newark men's soccer team is moving up the national statistical rankings of late, having won six-straight matches dating back to a September 6 victory over 19th-ranked SUNY Cortland.

The 7-2-0 Raiders won their first NJAC game Saturday night over No. 18 The College of New Jersey and will return to action at St. Joseph's – L.I. Wednesday night before visiting conference rival Rowan University Saturday afternoon.

As a team, Rutgers-Newark checks in third nationally and second in the conference with 23 assists, and is No. 10 nationally in total points (75). Their 26 total tallies has them ranked 12th nationally, while the team's 2.56 helpers per game is 15th in the country. R-N cracks the top-40 in points per game (No. 29; 8.33) and scoring offense (No. 36; 2.89) as well.

Gostynski's two game-winning goals has him 35th in the nation, and sophomore forward Chigozie Atubi is currently just outside the top-50 (No. 56) in points with 13.
