Gomez assisted the second Scarlet Raider goal of the match with a little more than 20 minutes to play in the first, crossing to an open
Shayna Bohus in front who pocketed her first career tally.
Moments later it was sophomore
Juliana Ceballos getting on the scoreboard, putting home a pretty touch pass off the foot of freshman
Carolina Gonzalez in the 32nd minute. Gomez picked up her fourth point of the match with an unassisted tally from the top of the box.
The final marker of the period came with 1:01 on the clock as senior back

Just 5:10 later Gomez scored after being set free with a nice feed by sophomore
Cindy Guzman. Gomez controlled inside the box, using some nifty 1-on-1 moves to get loose in front for the score.
