EWING, N.J. | The Scarlet Raiders women's tennis program took on The College of New Jersey this afternoon and fell, 9-0. The loss drops the the Scarlet Raiders to 0-1 while the Lions improved to 2-0.

The Lions took down the Scarlet Raiders in straight sets in doubles with the duo of Bryanna Thaxton and Sugandhi Yerram Reddy putting up a fight but ultimately fell, 8-0. 

In singles it was much of the same as the Scarlet Raiders were swept in each match to start the season 0-1. 

Up next for the Scarlet Raiders is Thursday, September 5 at 4:00 pm at the Golden Dome Tennis Courts.
