PITMAN, NJ | The Rutgers University-Newark women's soccer program has received one of their highest rankings in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Preseason Coaches Poll in the history of its program. The Scarlet Raiders were tabbed as the sixth-best squad in the NJAC.

The College of New Jersey took the top spot, collecting eight of the 10 votes for the top spot while Montclair earned the other pair of votes. Landing in the fourth spot and labeled the dark horse is Rutgers University-Camden.

Rutgers University-Newark will kick off their campaign on Wednesday, September 1 at 7:30 p.m. when they host Union College at Frederick Douglass Field.
