PITMAN, NJ | The New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) released its pre-championship poll this afternoon for Saturday's upcoming cross country championship. The Rutgers-Newark women's cross country squad was picked to finish tied for 6th with Kean.
The Scarlet Raiders have been led all season long by Zrreyah Moore who has a season best time of 27:12.7 which came at the DeSales Invitational. Zahkyrah Carter has been hot on the heels of Moore this season with her best time coming at the DeSales Invitational as well (27:21.4). Brooke Bachia, Chidimma Igwe and Brya Byrd will all look to score for the Scarlet Raiders and finish better than the preseason poll as they begin to prepare for their indoor track and field season.
