EWING, NJ | Timaul Williams set the new Rutgers-Newark school record in the hammer throw at the TCNJ Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
Andrew Mark placed 43rd in the 100m dash with a time of 11.98 while Cedric Augustin (59th, 12.44) and Nicholas Branco (66th, 13.18) followed up. Diego Gomes excelled in the 400m and took 11th with a time of 51.26 and was followed by Chris Williams (34th, 53.50) and Kanye Stevens (47th, 56.11).
Adam Abushanab recorded the 3rd fastest time in the 1500m in school history with a time of 4:05.03, good for 14th. Zachariah Muyingo finished 25th in the 110m hurdles with a time of 17.91. Williams broke the school record in the hammer throw with a toss of 53.78m, good for a 3rd-place finish.
