PITMAN, NJ | Timaul Williams was named the Thomas M. Gerrity Most Outstanding Athlete for the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) for the outdoor track & field season.
Timaul Williams swept the throwing events for the Scarlet Raiders, earning him First Team All-NJAC in the shot put, discus, and hammer throw. In the shot put, Williams threw a distance of 16.07m before hurling 53.41m in the discus. Williams capped the day with a throw of 52.54m in the hammer throw.
The 4x400 relay team (Diego Gomes, Andrew Mark, Christopher Williams, and Cedric Augustin) picked up NJAC Honorable Mention with a time of 3:24.56. Adam Abushanab rounded out the awards for the Scarlet Raiders with an NJAC Honorable Mention nod in the 10,000m run with a time of 32:01.60.
