SENIOR (2013): Started in 10 of the 18 matches in which he appeared for Scarlet Raider team which finished 17-6-1, reached the NJAC Championship match for the first time in program history and earned the program’s first NCAA Championship at-large berth… ranked fourth in points (16) and was tied for third in goals (6) and assists (4)… put 59.3% (16-27) of his shots on goal… netted two goals – including the game winner in a 4-1 win over Mount St. Mary (9/15/13)… fed Raphael Araujo for golden goal at the first overtime horn in a 3-2 victory over Merchant Marine (9/4/13)… went three consecutive matches with a goal and an assist in wins over DeSales (9/8/13), St. Joseph’s LI (9/11/13) and Staten Island (9/14/13).

JUNIOR (2012): Started in 13 of the 19 matches in which he appeared for the 14-8-1 Scarlet Raiders… put 58.8% (10-17) of his shots on goal… scored the Raiders’ lone goal in a 2-1 loss to Kean (9/19)… assisted on the game-winning goal in a 4-0 win over Hunter (9/9).

SOPHOMORE (2011): Started in 22 of the 23 matches that he played in for the 13-8-3 Raiders who won the ECAC Metro Championship tournament… lead the squad with four game-winning goals… tied for first on the team in goals (7) while rating second in points (18) and assists (4) to have a in hand in 11 of the Raiders’ 36 goals… put 52.9% (18-34) of his shots on goal… was two for three in penalty kicks… scored the lone goal in the 48th minute of a 1-0 win over top-seeded Drew (11/12/11) in the ECAC Metro Championship semifinals… scored the game-winning goal in the eighth minute of overtime in a 2-1 victory over Redlands (9/3/11) and assisted on the first Raider goal… scored both Raider goals in the second half, including the game winner, in a 2-1 decision over FDU-Florham (10/5/11)… netted the game-winning goal and added an assist in a 3-0 regular-season win over St. Joseph’s LI (9/14/11)… tallied the Raiders’ lone goal in a 3-1 loss to Rutgers-Camden (9/17/11).

FRESHMAN (2010): Played in 21 matches with five starting assignments for the 12-9-1 Raiders… netted three goals with two assists for eight points… put 42.9% (12-28) of his shots on goal… put back a blocked shot for the game-winning lone goal in 1-0 decision over Old Westbury (11/10) in the opening round of the ECAC Metro/Upstate NY Championship tournament… bicycle kick goal in an 8-0 win over Purchase (9/9) debuted as ESPN SportsCenter’s top play in their “Top 10 Plays of the Day”… also had two assists in victory over Purchase (9/9)… netted a goal in a 5-1 victory over York NY (10/18).

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year starter at Elizabeth HS… senior captain and All-Watchung Conference for Minutemen, netting eight goals and distributing seven assists… second team all-conference and honorable mention all-state on 19-4 junior squad which claimed a Union County and sectional titles… also lettered in swimming and track.

PERSONAL: Born in Ambato, Ecuador… son of Susana Aviles and Byron Naranjo… has a younger sister (Melissa)… joins cousin Brian Barrera on the Scarlet Raider roster.
