FRESHMAN (2013-14): OUTDOOR T&F: Honorable Mention All-NJAC in the shot put… shattered R-N record in the shot put, becoming the first Raider to qualify for the ECAC Championships in the event… topped the 14-meter plateau four times and upped the R-N mark three times during the season… set R-N standard with a heave of 14.40 meters at the NJ Invitational (4/12/14)… competed in the javelin once with a long throw of 47.13 meters at the Roadrunner Invitational (4/5/14). INDOOR T&F: All-NJAC second team in the shot put… two-time NJAC Rookie of the Week… first-place finisher at the CTC Championships… reset the R-N shot put record six times during the season while qualifying for the ECAC Championships at six meets… posted R-N record of 14.95 meters to place second at the NJAC Championships (3/1/14)… won the CTC Championships (2/8/14) with a heave of 14.70 meters.

HIGH SCHOOL: A three-sport athlete at Hasbrouck Heights earning three letters in track & field and football and one in baseball… NIGI state indoor state champs 2009… NIGI state indoor and outdoor champs in both 2010 and 2011… indoor county relay champs in 2009… outdoor and indoor county relay champs in 2010… outdoor relay champs in 2011… group one indoor relay champs all three years… first team All-Bergen county in shot put… first team all-state group one in shot put… WIGI shot put champ… placed seventh in state meet of champs… group one shot put relay champs 2010-2012… Bergen County indoor and outdoor 2010-2012 shot put relay champs… first team all-league shot NJIC division D... earned all-league linebacker in football in 2009-2012… Honorable Mention all-league in baseball in 2009.

PERSONAL: Transferred to R-N from Bergen Community College… son of Ellen and Russ Connors… has an older sister (Alyssa) and an older brother (Matt) who played baseball for R-N (2008-2011)… plans to major in criminal justice.
