FRESHMAN (2014): Went 4-8 in singles play and 2-9 in double competition for the 2-10 Scarlet Raiders… played 11 of her singles matches on the No. 2 court with the other appearance on the No. 1 court… played first and second doubles… teamed with classmate Catherine Popov to win two of her last three doubles contests.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-sport athlete in tennis softball and basketball at Salem HS… four-year letterwinner in tennis… earned first team All-Tri-County as a senior… helped Rams to four straight winning seasons… play first singles as a junior and senior, second singles as a sophomore and third singles as a freshman… first team All-Tri-County as a senior in softball, earning four letters… played in senior all-star game… earned one letter in basketball.
 
PERSONAL: Plans to major in psychology and social work… daughter of Roxanne and Steve Merritt… has two older sisters (Shelley and Megan)… her mother played basketball at Kean.
