Biography
NOTES: The cornerstone runner for the fledgling Scarlet Raider track & field and cross country programs who owns 11 school marks... has posted best cross country times at 5-K and 4-K while helping to set nine track & field standards... author of indoor records in the 400 and 600... holds records outdoors for the 400 and 800 as well as the 400-hurdles... a member of indoor and outdoor record relay teams in both the 4 x 200 and 4 x 400… academically, she is a Bloustein Scholar… a psychology major who aspires to be a child psychologist… a member of the Rutgers Poets Society who loves writing.
PROFILE OF THE WEEK Feature (October 2, 2007)
SENIOR (2009): Competed in the NJAC Championships (10/31), finishing third on the team in the 6K race in a time of 31:24.17.
JUNIOR (2008): No. 2 runner on the cross country squad, posting a school record in the seldom run 4-k distance, clocking a 19:44.87 at the CTC Championships (10/18).
SOPHOMORE (2007): In cross country, was top finisher in every meet for the Scarlet Raiders… set school record with a time of 27:43.59 in the 6K at the NJAC Championships (10/20)… established 5K school record with a clocking of 21:35.10 at the CTC Championships (10/27).
FRESHMAN (2006-07): Ran second fastest indoor 400-meter time at NCAA Division I Eastern Michigan University (58.58).
HIGH SCHOOL: Senior MVP and team captain in track & field at Pleasantville HS… lettered three times for the Greyhounds… ran in the Meet of Champions as a junior… graduated in the top 10 in her class… a member of the National Honor Society and recipient of the J. Howard Savell Award for academic excellence.
