NOTES: Academic junior in her first year of intercollegiate competition… transferred to R-N from Pace University in Fall 2009.
JUNIOR (2009): Joined senior Natascha Alves as the only Raider runners to compete in all seven events… figured in Raider scoring in every race… ran a personal-best 6K time of 28:03.60 in the NCAA Atlantic Regional (11/14)… ran her best 5K time of 26:40.17 in the Cabrini Invitational (10/10)… second-place Raider runner in four races.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned Coach’s Award at The Master’s School in cross country… two-sport letterwinner who also placed seventh in the Mamaroneck Fencing Tournament… National Honor Society student.
PERSONAL: Majoring in economics at R-N… daughter of Marina Shiyanova… born in Murmansk, Russia… nickname is Ania.
