JUNIOR (2015): Helped Rutgers-Newark to 12-win 2016 season and finished the year with 104 kills, 235 digs, seven blocks, seven assists and 10 aces ... played in 23 of the team's 27 matches in a variety of positions ... tallied a double-double of 16 kills and 29 digs in a marvelous perforamnce against Baruch ... had five or more kills in 11 different matches ... totaled 13 winners against William Paterson on October 27 ... had double-digit digs in 11 matches and totaled two double-doubles on the year ... had multiple aces in back-to-back matches against Johnson & Wales and Rowan on October 6 & 10

SOPHOMORE (2014): Second on the squad in digs and receptions for the 17-12 Scarlet Raiders who reached the ECAC Metro/Upstate semifinals… one of two Raiders to see action in all 102 games… ranked ninth among NJAC players in digs average (3.22 per game)… totaled 328 digs while registering 46.0 points on 25 kills and 21 aces… reached double figures in digs in 19 matches while reaching the 20-dig plateau three times… handled 380 serves with 38 errors (89.7%)… tallied 22 digs while handling 21 serves with just one error in a 3-1 loss to Ramapo (10/16/14)… collected 22 digs in a 3-1 loss to Baruch (9/17/14)… recorded 20 digs in 3-0 loss to Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (10/25/14)… equaled her career high with eight kills while adding an ace and 17 digs in a 3-1 win over CCNY (10/9/14)… tallied five kills with 16 digs in a 3-0 win over Delaware Valley (9/25/14)… delivered a season-high four aces in a 3-2 loss to Farmingdale State (9/9/14).

FRESHMAN (2013): Played in all but one game for the 8-16 Scarlet Raiders… NJAC Rookie of the Week (9/8/13)… totaled 75.0 points on 47 kills and 28 aces while piling up 246 digs and 132 assists… second on the squad in digs (2.93 dpg), assists (1.57 apg) and service aces (.33 per game)… reached double digits in digs 10 times in the first 15 matches topped by a 30-dig performance in a 3-2 loss to New Jersey City (10/10/13)… notched double digits in assists in six of the final nine matches… registered a season-high 19 assists in a 3-0 win over Bard (10/26/13)… tallied a season-high 13.0 points eight kills and five aces while adding 21 digs in a 3-1 win over Brooklyn College (9/5/13)… had a season-high nine kills plus 28 digs and an ace in a 3-1 loss to Cedar Crest (9/9/13)… recorded five kills, five aces and 10 digs in a 3-1 win over Farmingdale State (9/17/13).

HIGH SCHOOL: A two-sport athlete at Morristown HS earning three letters in volleyball and four letters in track… earned honorable mention and defensive player of the year in volleyball.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Maria and William Hormaza… has two sisters (Leidy and Andrea)... plans to major in criminal justice.
