Biography

2017: Started nine contests on the hill for a Scarlet Raider team that reached the NJAC Tournament for the first time since 2011... recorded team-highs with five wins and 41 strikeouts over 51.0 innings... struck out a season-best seven batters over seven strong innings in a big win at NJAC foe NJCU, allowing two earned runs and walking one... hurled his best start of the year in a victory over Albertus Magnus conceding only three hits and one unearned run over seven frames while fanning six opponents and walking one. 

2016: Made 10 appearances on the season, all of which were starts ... finished the year with a solid 4.03 earned-run average and was credited with three wins ... had one complete-game ... tossed 58 frames and struck out 22 ... allowed four runs or less and pitched five innings or more in 8-of-10 starts for Rutgers-Newark ... earned key New Jersey Athletic Conference wins over Rutgers-Camden and Montclair State.

2015: Took the mound nine times as a freshman in 2015, throwing 27.2 innings and striking out eight batters ... saw time in three different team victories, going 1-2 overall ... allowed no runs in four appearances ... gave up three hits and no runs on April 14 against Alvernia ... earned the win with six innings of one-run (none earned) ball against Mount Saint Mary on April 1 ... had multiple strikeouts in three games, including three against CCNY on April 19.

HIGH SCHOOL: Senior MVP and three-year letterman at Middletown North HS...Earned First Team All-Shore Class A North honors…hurled a complete-game five-hit 3-1 win in the first round of the Monmouth County Tournament over second-seeded Shore Regional…suffered a loss in a complete game one-hitter against archrival Middletown South in the Monmouth County Quarterfinals.
 
PERSONAL: Plans to major in accounting… son of Donna and Mike Zibrin… has an older sister (Danielle).
