JUNIOR (2021)
After leading the Scarlet Raiders with 9 goals during the 2019 year, Catania exploded for a team-high 20 goals in his junior campaign... He opened the season with 1+ goals in eight straight games... Catania's biggest game came against Kean University where he scored three goals to lift the Scarlet Raiders past Kean 3-2... On top of being a prolific scorer for the Scarlet Raiders, Catania was also able to find his teammates to the tune of five assists on the year... He finished the year with a career-high 112 shots with 66 of them on target, good for 59%... Five of his 20 goals were game winners for the Scarlet Raiders and converted seven of his eight penalty kick attempts...

SOPHOMORE (2019)
Top performance of the year came against William Paterson as he scored a hat-trick on eight shot attempts... Led team with 9 goals, and 19 total points, in nine games played...

FRESHMAN (2018)
Was named 2018 Honorable Mention All-NJAC... Played in 19 games and started 17 of them... Catania led the team with 16 goals on a team-high 57 shots... He played 1,406 minutes and converted both of his penalty attempts...

PERSONAL
Catania chose Rutgers University-Newark because it allowed him pursue a career path from a graduate perspective, while also competing for a good athletics program. In his spare time Catania enjoys watching soccer... His favorite food is his mom's pasta... Favorite movie is Happy Gilmore... Listed Andrea Pirlo as his favorite athlete...
