Alex Couto, is majoring in Economics, brings his skills to the pitcher's mound for Rutgers University-Newark's baseball team. Hailing from Woodcliff Lake and standing at 5’7”. Outside of baseball, Alex enjoys cooking and appreciates the finer things in life, with favorites like "The Godfather" and roasted duck. With a keen eye for value, Alex chose Rutgers University-Newark for its cost-effective education. While neither of his parents played sports in college and he doesn't have siblings in collegiate sports, Alex hopes to be remembered for his maturity, responsibility, and dedication, setting a positive example for his teammates both on and off the field.
