Biography

2017: Second-Team All-NJAC... Started all 39 games for a Scarlet Raider team that reached the NJAC Tournament for the first time since 2011... led the NJAC with 26 stolen bases in 29 attempts... led R-N in batting average and on-base percentage while slashing .348/.467/.444... scored a squad-high 43 runs and shared team-best honors with two triples... finished third on the Raiders with 47 hits and 33 RBI... racked up 16 multi-hit contests including a four-hit game in a win over league foe NJCU... compiled a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage while racking up 99 put outs.

2016: Hit .286 for the Scarlet Raiders as a sophomore, making 19 starts and 25 appearances ... slugged .349 and had a .410 on-base percentage which was second on the team ... tallied 11 walks, nine RBI, 18 hits, two doubles and one triple ... had two outfield assists ... pitched 13 innings as well ... striking out four and allowing just nine hits ... went 5-for-6 at the plate against Drew on March 28 and had multiple hits in four different games ... allowed no earned runs in three different pitching appearances.

2015: Played in 23 games for the Scarlet Raiders as a freshman, making 12 starts ... had eight hits, nine runs and five RBI ... had an on-base-percentage of .305 ... picked up first career hit (a double) at Occidental on March 14, also picking up first RBI and run scored in that contest ... went 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored in a win at CMS on March 21. 

HIGH SCHOOL: First team All-Watchung Conference and all area, second team All-Union County and third team All-Group 4 as a senior at Westfield HS…two-year letterman who helped the Blue Devils to a Group 4 title game as a junior and a county championship as a senior…led the team in batting average (.476), hits (33), runs scored (24) and stolen bases (16) his senior year…also had 11 RBI and 12 walks and struck out just four times.
 
PERSONAL: Plans to major in criminal justice… son of Helen and Anthony Perconte… has a younger sister (Gianna).
