Calvin Claiborne, is majoring in Computer Science, originates from Iselin and attended John F. Kennedy Memorial High School. Standing tall at 6'0", Calvin excels as a middle infielder. Calvin brings a strong work ethic and dedication to the game. Outside of baseball, he enjoys basketball and staying fit. His favorite movie is "Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift," and he relishes baked ziti as his go-to comfort food. Calvin looks up to NBA star Paul George for his athletic prowess. He chose Rutgers University-Newark for its academic excellence and proximity to home. His parents, Calvin and Colette, didn't participate in college sports. However, Calvin's brother is a freshman pitcher on the team, and his sister is a senior shortstop on the softball team. Calvin hopes to be remembered by his coaches and teammates for his willingness to help and provide guidance to those facing challenges similar to his own. He represents the Garden State Junebugs on the club team.
