Patrick Reitemeyer, Rutgers-Newark's all-time hits leader, has been on the Scarlet Raiders coaching staff since his graduation in 2011.

He helped Raiders to a cumulative record of 85-75-1 capped by three consecutive 20-win season, three ECAC Metro Championship playoff berths and a pair of NJAC Championship Tournament appearances.

Reitemeyer is firstin the R-N record book in career sacrifice flies with 11 and finished his career with 28 steals in just 31 attempts.  He was third in career RBIs with 141, tied for second in career runs scored with 145, fifth in career doubles with 39, tied for sixth in career triples with 10 and third in total bases with 318.

During his sparkling career he was twice named to the ABCA All-Mid-Atlantic and All-NJAC teams while also earning three slots on the all-state squad.  He also was an All-ECAC Metro first team pick as a junior.
