PERSONAL
Donovan Claiborne, is majoring in Computer Science, hails from Iselin and attended John F. Kennedy High School. Standing at 5'10", Donovan is a left-handed pitcher with promising potential.  Donovan brings a dedicated mindset to the game. Beyond baseball, he enjoys playing games and building his collection of stylish shirts. His favorite movie is "Black Panther," and he savors ribs as his preferred food. Denzel Washington stands out as his favorite actor, while he admires athlete Bryce Harper for his skills. Donovan chose Rutgers University-Newark for its esteemed computer science program and the convenience of having his sibling on campus. His parents, Calvin and Colette Claiborne, didn't engage in college sports. However, Donovan's siblings, Alexis and Calvin, both excel in collegiate athletics, with Alexis playing softball and Calvin playing baseball. Donovan hopes to be remembered by his coaches and teammates for his earnest efforts and dedication to everything he enjoys. He proudly represents the Garden State Junebugs on the club team.
