PERSONAL
Joseph Bernardo, is majoring in Finance, hails from Wayne and attended DePaul Catholic High School. Standing at 5'9", Joseph is a versatile player, serving as a catcher and first baseman. He's earned recognition as a first-team all Passaic County player for two consecutive years. When not on the field, Joseph enjoys playing cornhole with friends from his hometown. His favorite athlete is Jalen Brunson. Joseph chose Rutgers University-Newark to pursue his passion for baseball while also delving into the business school. His parents, Sandra and Joseph, did not play sports in college, and he doesn't have any siblings who played sports at the collegiate level. Joseph's legacy as a player and teammate at Rutgers University-Newark is yet to be written, but he hopes to leave a positive impact on both the field and in the classroom.
