Daniel Roibal joined Rutgers University-Newark as a graduate assistant in 2019. Roibal joins the staff from Drew University.
Roibal was a three year standout on his Middletown High School South team where he was named captain during his senior year.
From there, he attended Drew University where he was a member of the men's basketball team for four years. He appeared in 91 games and started 41 and tallied nearly 500 points, 400 rebounds, and 100 steals. During his senior season, he was named the captain and helped lead the Rangers to the most wins in program history.Â
He will pursue his master's degree in Liberal Studies at Rutgers University-Newark and hone his coach craft under Head Coach Joe Loughran.Â
