He was a key player for the Scarlet Raider men’s basketball team which reached the New Jersey Athletic Conference title game and earned an at-large berth to the NCAA D-III Championship Tournament in 2013.
Â

Â
After an all-star career at Irvington High School, Belfield was a first-team All-Region 19 and All-Garden State junior college player at Essex County College from 2009 to 2011.
Â
