2024: Started all 14 games he appeared in…Registered 58 at-bats…Scored 11 runs…Had 14 hits, five doubles, two triples, and nine RBI…Walked nine times for an on-base percentage of .343…Had two sacrifice hits and seven stolen bases…Hit .241 on the season…Had 49 putouts and just two errors for a .961 fielding percentage.

2023: Started all 30 games he appeared in…Recorded 107 at-bats…Scored 22 runs…Had 30 hits, two doubles, one triple, and 15 RBI…Walked 25 times and hit by a pitch once for an on-base percentage of .418…Had one sacrifice fly, five sacrifice hits, and 20 stolen bases….Had 84 putouts and one assist for a perfect fielding percentage.

PERSONAL
Gilroy, is pursuing Finance, hails from Caldwell, NJ, and attended James Caldwell High School. Standing at 5 feet 8 inches, Gilroy excels as a center fielder. He boasts a remarkable list of accolades, including Essex County Player of the Year, Deans List recognition, and two-time Rookie of the Week honors. In his free time, Gilroy enjoys playing hockey and visiting the beach. His favorite movie is "Moonlight," and he relishes steak as his favorite food. Gilroy admires Mike Trout as his preferred athlete. He chose Rutgers University-Newark for its affordability and proximity, coupled with adequate academic offerings. His parents, Dunstan and Amy Prial, didn't have a college sports background. However, his sibling, Clayton Prial, played sports in college. Once he graduates, Gilroy hopes to be remembered as a good teammate and a good person. He represents Legends Baseball in the ACBL.
