Biography

PERSONAL
Matthew King, is majoring in Criminal Justice, hails from Ocean Township, where he attended Ocean Township High School. Standing at 5'9", Matthew specializes as a right-handed pitcher. Despite lacking specific awards, he brings dedication and enthusiasm to the field. Off the field, Matthew enjoys snowboarding and golf. His sports heroes include David Wright, while he admires actor Jim Carrey. Matthew chose Rutgers University-Newark due to Coach Kortman and the staff's welcoming nature and their shared goal of championship success. Neither of his parents played sports in college, and he has no siblings who played collegiate sports. Matthew hopes to be remembered by his coaches and teammates for his role as a supportive and committed team member throughout his college career. He currently does not play for a club team.
