PROFILE OF THE WEEK (February 4, 2009)
NOTES: Walked on to compete in cross country and track & field following a four-year career on R-N’s NCAA Division I men’s volleyball team… competed in high jump indoors and javelin outdoors in track & field.
SENIOR (2009): Ran in two early-season races for R-N… ran a 16:11.80 in the 4K at the Stevens Invitational (9/25)… competed in the Cabrini Invitational (10/10), posting a time of 36:30.21.
HIGH SCHOOL: Two-sport standout in volleyball and basketball, earning multiple team MVP honors in each sport at the Academy of American Studies.
PERSONAL: Completed biology major at R-N… son of Deborah and the late Kenneth Rienecker… has an older sister, Jessica.
