NOTES: Four-year defensive starter for the winningest group of seniors in Raider history (56-31-6)… helped R-N to three ECAC Metro playoffs and an NCAA D-III tournament.
 
SENIOR (2013):  Captain and defensive mainstay for Scarlet Raider team which finished 17-6-1, reached the NJAC Championship match for the first time in program history and earned the program’s first NCAA Championship at-large berth… started in each of the 23 matches in which he appeared, helping the Raider defense limit opponents to just 32 goals.

PROFILE OF THE WEEK (September 2013)

JUNIOR (2012): All-NJAC second team as a defender… team captain for 14-8-1 Scarlet Raiders, starting in 20 of the 22 matches in which he appeared… defensive leader for R-N unit which allowed just 1.02 goals per match with eight shutouts.

SOPHOMORE (2011): Honorable Mention All-NJAC defender for the 13-8-3 Raiders who claimed the ECAC Metro Championship playoff crown… started in each his 23 appearances, helping the Raiders yield just 1.29 goals per match… took just one shot all season, pulling the trigger in a 2-0 loss to Carthage (9/11/11).

FRESHMAN (2010): Played in 20 matches with 14 starting assignments for the 12-9-1 Raiders… tallied one goal while putting two of his six shots on goal… contributed the game-winning marker in a 5-1 decision over York NY (10/18)… was a key factor as the Raiders out shot their opponents 452-285.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterman on Monroe Township HS teams that posted a pair of Greater Middlesex County championships… two-sport standout in soccer and track… two-time All-GMC and White Division selection in soccer… third team all-area as a senior… honorable mention all-county by News Tribune as a sophomore… Falcons took GMC crowns during his freshman (2006) and junior (2008) years… school record holder in 55-meter dash and high jump… also member of school-record 2 x 200-meter and sprint medley relay units… National Honor Society member… also has helped club program Jersey Knights Fire to back-to-back state final appearances.

PERSONAL: Plans to major in political science and pre-law at R-N… son of Judy-Ann and Courtney Chung… stepmother is Lydia.. his older sister Jordan Bunch played soccer at Rider University in 2008 before transferring to West Virginia University.
