Biography

SENIOR (2011):  Tri-captain who started in 20 of the 22 matches that he played in for the 13-8-3 Raiders who took the ECAC Metro Championship title… a defensive cornerstone who also played in the midfield for the Raiders, helping the squad limit opponents to 1.29 goals per game… put three of his 10 shots on goal, but did not register any points.

JUNIOR (2010): Tri-captain… started in 17 of the 20 matches in which he appeared for the 12-9-1 Raiders… tallied three assists… assisted on the opening goal of a 2-1 double-overtime win over Mount St. Mary (10/4)… assisted on the insurance goal in a 2-0 upset of No. 3 nationally ranked and previously unbeaten Stevens (10/19)… also had the assist on the Raiders’ lone goal in a 6-1 loss at North Carolina Wesleyan (9/4).

SOPHOMORE (2009): Started in 17 of 21 matches played for the 13-6-4 Raiders, helping the squad to NJAC and ECAC Metro Championship Tournament berths… tallied four points on a goal and two assists while playing primarily at midfield and defense… put five of his eight shots on goal… assisted on the lone goal in a 1-0 double-overtime victory over Kean (10/17/09)… registered a goal and an assist in a 7-0 win over Staten Island (10/5/09).

FRESHMAN (2008):
Impact freshman on the defensive side, starting 19 matches to help Raiders to the first ECAC Metro Championship final in school history... starter from opening match who helped Rutgers-Newark limit opponents to 1.28 goals per game... contributed an assist in a 4-1 win over John Jay (10/13/08)... put two of his five shots on goal.

HIGH SCHOOL: Team MVP and first-team All-Atlantic Cape Conference performer as a senior at Mainland Regional HS... also served as senior captain... as a junior, was team’s best defensive player while garnering second unit all-conference laurels... four-year letterwinner was honorable mention All-ACC as a sophomore for the Mustangs.

PERSONAL: An academic sophomore who attended Richard Stockton as a true freshman... youngest of three siblings... sister Khadene played soccer for the Rutgers-Newark women’s squad (2003-06)... plans to major in business management at Rutgers-Newark.
