ACITO'S CAREER (USTFCCCA)
SOPHOMORE (2013-14): OUTDOOR T&F: Competed in the 800 and 1500-meter runs… posted a personal best of 4:27.17 in the 1500 at the Danny Curran Invitational (3/29/14)… clocked a personal best of 2:07.89 in the 800 at the NJAC Championships (5/4/14).
INDOOR T&F: Competed in the mile run in six meets… ran a season’s best of 4:52.26 at the NJAC Championships (3/1/14).
FRESHMAN (2012-13): Participated in outdoor track in the spring of 2013 and cross country in the fall of 2013 at Union County College… was a member of the inaugural teams in each sport for the Owls.
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterman in cross country and two-year letterman in indoor and outdoor track & field at Roselle Catholic HS… helped cross country team to a Parochial B State title in 2008… Lions took state indoor track & field title during his senior year (2011) after finishing second in 2010... was on the swimming team as a freshman.
PERSONAL: Plans to major in criminal justice at R-N… son of Marylou and Biagio Acito… has two younger brothers (Mateo and Franky).
