Aziza Ahmed is in her second season as a Graduate Assistant Coach with the Rutgers University-Newark track & field programs in 2018-19. Her primary role will be serving as the team's throws coach.
A graduate from Monmouth University with a B.S. in Health/Physical Education & k-12 Education, Ahmed was a four-year member of the track & field team at MU, competing in field events. Ahmed placed second in the discus at the 2016 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championships, earning nine different top-10's during her final outdoor campaign.

A member of the Monmouth Health Studies Honors Society, Ahmed is a teacher in both the West Long Branch and West Windsor school districts and also serves as a lifeguard in Bradley Beach.

She has served as a volunteer track & field coach at Hightstown High School, and has worked as a volunteer for the Special Olympics.
