MEDINA'S CAREER (USTFCCCA)
JUNIOR (2013-14): OUTDOOR T&F: Did not compete. INDOOR T&F: Competed in the mile and 3000-meter runs… clocked a season’s best 10:19.76 in the 3000 at the Molloy Lions Invitational (2/14/14)… ran a season’s best 5:12.04 mile at the Ramapo Select Meet (1/18/14).
SOPHOMORE (2012-13): OUTDOOR T&F: Competed in the 3000 and 5000 runs… clocked a personal best of 18:21.10 in the 5000-meter run at the Lions’ Invitational (4/27/13)… in his only effort at the 3000-meter run, posted a time of 10:35.79 at the NJ Invitational (4/13/13). INDOOR T&F: Competed in just one meet, posting a 3000-meter run time of 11:23.65 at the CTC Relay Carnival (12/2/12).
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-sport athlete at Bogota HS, lettering in track, wrestling and football… earned four letters in football and two each in wrestling and track for the Buccaneers.
PERSONAL: Wrestled at Bergen Community College as a true freshman… transferred to R-N in the fall of 2012… majoring in history at R-N… son of Ana and Apolinar Medina… has a younger sister (Melanie) and a younger brother (Bryan)… competed in the final two cross country meets of the 2012 season, figuring in the scoring both times.
