FRESHMAN (2013): Started in six of the 11 matches in which he appeared for the 4-21 Scarlet Raiders… totaled 11 kills, six aces, 17 blocks (one solo, 16 assists) and five digs.

HIGH SCHOOL: Helped Colegio Marista a runner-up finish in the national championships and a Puerto Rico High School Athletic Association title as a senior… Seahawks went 12-0 during his senior year… earned two letters, helping coach Juan Aviles’ squad to a 12-3 record and a second-place finish in the PRHSAA as a junior.

CLUB: Helped E3 club to a third-place finish in the 2012 Puerto Rico Junior Nationals and a 12-6 record under coach Ossie Antonetti… in 2011, was a member of San Juan Volleyball Club squad which went 25-5 and claimed gold at the Puerto Rico Junior Nationals and the 18 Junior Nationals in Minnesota under coach Alan Abrador.

PERSONAL: Son of Magali Fernandez and Jose Cerame… has an older sister (Monica)… born in Guaynabo… played against R-N classmate Adrian Lopez for two seasons in high school and with him as a member of the E3 club team in 2012.
