HONORS: 2015 CVC Champion, 2015 NCAA 'Elite 8', 2015 CVC All-Conference

2015: Played in 32 matches and 111 sets for the Scarlet Raiders, tallying 2.12 digs per set and .44 assists per set ... led R-N in digs with 235, also dishing out 49 assists ... had double-digit digs in 10 matches in 2015, including 18 at Cairn on March 4 and 27 at Thiel on February 14 ...  tallied 10 digs in the sweep over Endicott College in the first round of the NCAA Tournament ... first-team All-CVC.

2014: Saw action in 24 matches as a libero for the 9-17 Raiders… made just 23 reception errors in 369 chances (93.8%) while totaling 72 digs and a dozen assists… ranked fifth on the squad in digs… handled 31 serves without an error while posting a season-high seven digs in a 3-1 loss to Sacred Heart (4/9/14)… handled 21 serves without an error and chipped in three assists in a 3-0 win over Mount St. Vincent (2/18/14).

2013: Saw action in all but one match as a reception specialist for the 4-21 Scarlet Raiders… handled 403 serves with 29 reception errors (92.8%)... fourth on the squad with 81 digs… notched a season high 13 digs in a 3-1 loss to Eastern Mennonite (2/16/13).

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterwinner at Emmaus HS under coaches Debra Schlosser and Joe Mahan who helped team to back-to-back District XI titles as a junior and senior… named team’s most improved player as a junior… helped Hornets to Lebanon Valley Conference title as a senior… played with R-N classmate Travis Mintzer for three seasons on the Emmaus varsity squad.

CLUB: Three-year member of Club Lehigh, helping the team to back-to-back trips to the Junior Nationals (2011 and 2012) as well as a regional title in 2012 under coach Deb Schlosser and Joe Mahan… played with R-N classmates Travis Mintzer and Cody Chidsey on Club Lehigh.

PERSONAL: Plans to major in biology at R-N… son of Loan and Loc Nguyen… has two older brothers (Thuan and Tri).
