Biography

PERSONAL
Steven Miller, is majoring in Environmental Science, hails from Manahawkin, NJ, and attended Southern Regional High School. Standing at 5-9, Steven is a left-handed pitcher and outfielder. He holds several accolades from high school, including being the All-Time Saves Leader and a Shore Conference All-Star in baseball, as well as winning championships in track and field and cross country. Off the field, Steven enjoys biking, Spikeball, playing Retro Bowl, listening to music, and spending time with friends. His favorite movies are "Interstellar" and "Whiplash," and he admires actor Bryan Cranston, athletes Billy Wagner, Jalen Hurts, and Marcus Stroman, and singer Mac DeMarco. Steven chose Rutgers University-Newark for its balance of academic excellence and the opportunity to continue his athletic career. His father, Steve Miller, played ice hockey at Rochester Institute of Technology. Steven hopes to be remembered as a hard worker and a supportive teammate and friend once he graduates college. He has played for the Frazier Baseball and Ventnor Baysox club teams.
