Personal: Gomes chose Rutgers University-Newark because of its excellent business school alongside a great athletic program... His hobbies include watching European soccer and driving around the city... His father, Walmir Gomes, played setter for his team in Brazil while his mother Marci was a handball player in Brazil... He wants his teammates to remember him as someone who was grateful for allowing him to be apart of their great program... His club team is Warren Sixpack.
