PERSONAL
Angelyna Rodriguez, is majoring in Psychology at Rutgers University-Newark, hails from the Township of Washington. Standing at 5’3”, she brings her versatility to the softball team, playing in the utility position. During her free time, Angelyna enjoys snowboarding, traveling, and photography, showcasing her adventurous spirit. Her favorite indulgences include sushi for food, "Simone Biles" for movies, and Zendaya for actresses. Angelyna's decision to join Rutgers University-Newark was influenced by its tight-knit community, which she perceives as a supportive family environment. Her parents, Wilkin and Theresa Rodriguez, didn’t play sports in college, but her sibling, Adryiana Rodriguez, played softball at the collegiate level. After graduation, Angelyna hopes her coaches and teammates will remember her as a reliable teammate and a supportive friend for life. She represents NJ Fire on her club team.
