PROFILE OF THE WEEK

JUNIOR (2009-10): Led R-N in scoring (14.7) and 3-point field goals (76) in his first season in Scarlet & Black… among national leaders in free throw percentage (84.3%) making 59 of 70 attempts… averaged 4.4 rebounds while ranking third in assists (40) and steals (35)… led or tied for team leading scorer in a dozen games… scored in double figures 22 times in 25 games… had 13 multiple-assist games and 11 multiple-steal outings… poured in a team individual game high of 31 points in a 64-55 win over Rutgers-Camden (12/5), making nine of 15 field goals and 10 of 12 free throws… made a team individual high six 3-point jumpers on her way to 25 points and three assists in a 79-56 win over John Jay (12/12)… netted 22 points, making four 3-pointers, in a 62-54 loss to York PA (11/20)… had a double-double with 11 points and a career-high 10 rebounds in a 65-57 overtime loss to New Jersey City (2/6)… had 20 points, nine rebounds and three steals in a 41-39 loss to York NY (12/9).

FRESHMAN & SOPHOMORE (2007-08 & 2008-09): Key member of Union County College teams which rolled to back-to-back Garden State Athletic Conference championships… helped sophomore squad to the first unbeaten regular-season record in UCC history (27-0)… ranked among the top players in assists and steals in Region 19 during both seasons while netting 547 points and grabbing 162 rebounds… totaled 112 assists and 31 steals for her Owl career… ranked 24th in region in assists (51) and 25th in steals (31) as a sophomore… as a frosh, made 31 steals (34th in region) and 61 assists (21st).

HIGH SCHOOL: Netted 1,430 career points to finish third on the Kearny HS all-time list while earning four varsity letters… served as team captain as a junior and senior, helping the squad to an 18-10 record as a senior… Kardinals made the playoffs in each of her seasons under Jody Hill.

PERSONAL: Plans to major in criminal justice at R-N… daughter of Elizabeth and Ziggy Ruminska.
