PROFILE OF THE WEEK (January 2011)

JUNIOR (2010-11): Started all 29 games to help Scarlet Raiders to a 19-10 record and their first-ever NJAC Championship game appearance… second on the team in scoring (11.4 ppg) while leading the squad in free throw percentage (73.5% - 36-49) and 3-point field goals (52)… averaged 2.9 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game… led team in scoring 11 times…  netted double figures 15 times, failing to score just once… reached 20-point plateau six times… named MVP of UMass Boston Tip-Off Tournament after netting 18 points in 52-43 championship game win over UMass Boston (11/20/10)… scored 16 of her game-high 22 points in the second half and added eight rebounds, five steals and two assists in 65-60 overtime win over Montclair State (2/12/11) which secured an NJAC tournament berth in the final conference game of the regular season… notched 22 points, six rebounds and five assists in a 70-60 win over Lehman (2/15/11)… started season by hitting nine of 13 field goals on her way to 21 points in a 94-24 season-opening win over Medgar Evers (11/15/10)… scored team-high 20 points with three assists in a 63-48 win over TCNJ (2/19/11) in the opening round of the NJAC tournament… totaled 20 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals in a 54-49 loss at Richard Stockton (1/22/11)… netted team-high 20 points and added five assists and two steals in an 88-72 win over Purchase (12/29/10).

SOPHOMORE (2009-10): Paced R-N in assists (74) and steals (40) while starting in all 25 games… averaged 10.1 points and 3.4 rebounds per game… netted double digits a dozen times paced by a 20-point explosion, fueled by hitting four 3-pointers, in a 79-56 win over John Jay (12/12)… knocked down 38 pointers to rank second on the squad… notched an assist in all but two games, posting multiple assists 19 times… grabbed at least one rebound every game but the season opener… had a least one steal in 20 contests, making multiple steals a dozen times… dished off a career-high seven assists while scoring 14 points in a 64-61 loss to CCNY (11/24)… also had seven assists to go along with 17 points, four rebounds and three steals in a 58-54 loss to Rowan (1/9)… opened the year with 16 points, hitting four of nine 3-point tries, in a 79-29 win over City Tech (11/15) in the John K. Adams Tip-Off Classic… equaled her career high with eight rebounds while adding 14 points, three assists and two steals in a 61-59 overtime loss to TCNJ (1/16)… had four steals, five assists and seven rebounds in a 61-58 loss to Catholic (11/22)… had four assists and four steals to go along with eight points in a 77-47 loss to Baruch (12/7)… tallied 14 points, three assists and three steals in a 65-42 win over Purchase (2/13)… had five assists, four rebounds and three steals in a 54-43 loss to Ramapo (1/27)… pulled down six rebounds and made five assists in a 47-45 loss to Richard Stockton (1/30).

FRESHMAN (2008-09): 2009 Rutgers-Newark Female Athlete of the Year… Second-Team All-NJAC after leading 11-15 Scarlet Raiders in scoring (10.6 ppg)… Ranked second on the team in assists (42) and fourth in steals (40) while connecting on 68.2% (45-66) of her free throws… Made a team-high 91 field goals… Scored in double digits 11 times, reaching the 20-point plateau a team-best four times… Poured in a career-high 24 points in a win over CCNY (11/25/08)… Notched 23 points and added a career-high tying five steals in an overtime loss at Ramapo (2/4/09)… Also had five steals and 10 points in a loss to Kean (12/6/08)… Had back-to-back 21-point explosions in road wins over Merchant Marine (1/6/09) and Rutgers-Camden (1/10/09)… Pulled down multiple rebounds in 23 of 25 games, failing to garner a board in just one time… Posted personal-best eight rebounds in a loss to Briarcliffe (2/7/09)… Recorded 10 multiple-assist efforts highlighted with a 6-assist game in a win over John Jay (12/10/08)… Picked up multiple steals 11 times.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner at Wayne Valley… All-Conference, All-County performer… Also earned three letters in track.

PERSONAL: Has two siblings, Isaisa and Elizabeth… Plans on majoring in psychology.
