SENIOR (2013-14):
Rutgers-Newark Co-Female Athlete of the YearOUTDOOR T&F: USTFCCCA All-American in the javelin for the second time in her career… first Scarlet Raider named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic team... finished eighth at the NCAA Nationals (5/24/14) with an R-N record throw of 43.59 meters… shattered her own R-N record three times during the season… finished eighth at the Penn Relays (4/25/14) with a throw of 43.28 meters to enter the NCAA Nationals as the ninth seed… won the CTC Championships (4/18/14) with a throw of 42.72 meters. INDOOR T&F: Top 60-meter dash runner who also competed in the shot put… clocked the eighth and ninth fastest times in the 60 in the R-N record book… ran a personal best of 8.29 in the 60 dash at the Yale Season Opener (12/7/13) for the fastest time by a Raider… clocked an 8.32 at the NYU Team Challenge (1/24/14)… twice topped 10 meters in the shot put with a personal best of 10.25 meters at the Molloy Lions Invitational (2/14/14).

JUNIOR (2012-13): OUTDOOR T&F: Unleashed a season’s best 39.65-meter javelin throw in the ECAC Outdoor Championships (5/16/13) to place seventh in a field of 29… had three ECAC qualifying efforts in as many meets. INDOOR T&F: Competed in the 55 and 60-meter dashes while rehabilitating from knee surgery which cost the All-American javelin thrower her 2011-12 season… posted a best time of 8.02 in the 55-meter dash at the DeSchriver Invitational (2/2/13)… notched an 8.61 time in the 60-meter dash at the NJAC Indoor Championships (2/22/13).

SOPHOMORE (2011-12): Did not compete in track & field... sat out true sophomore season after undergoing off-season knee surgery.

FRESHMAN (2010-11): OUTDOOR T&F: Became Rutgers-Newark’s first female USTFCCCA D-III All-American by finishing fourth in the javelin at the 2011 NCAA D-III Outdoor Nationals in Delaware, OH… 2010-11 Rutgers-Newark Female Co-Athlete of the Year the first women’s javelin thrower in the brief 5-year history of the sport at R-N… first female NCAA qualifier in outdoor T&F at R-N… uncorked school-record 42.45-meter (139 feet, 3 inches) throw at NCAA meet to place fourth in a field of 22 competitors… top freshman finisher at the Nationals… had four throws over 40 meters in the National meet… All-NJAC second team after finishing second in the NJAC Outdoor Championships with a best throw of 40.20 meters… 2-time NJAC Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week (April 10 & May 29)… NJAC Outdoor T&F Rookie of the Week (May 22)… won the Rowan Open with a long throw of 41.00 meters… won the Roadrunner Express javelin medal with a throw of 39.89 meters… took second among 33 throwers at Lions Invitational with a best effort of 39.84 meters… had ECAC Outdoor qualifying and NCAA provisional qualifying throws in four of the eight meets in which she competed prior to the Nationals.

HIGH SCHOOL: Two-sport standout in basketball and track & field at Burlington Township HS… three-year letterwinner in each sport… two-time All-Liberty Division second team selection in basketball… Christmas Tournament MVP… two-time first-team all-star in track & field while setting the school javelin record… two second-place finishes in the javelin at the state meet… threw in the Meet of Champions as a senior.

PERSONAL: On scheudule to complete her bachelor's degree in criminal justice at RUN in December 2014... will compete as a graduate student in the spring of 2015... hopes of become a U.S. Marshall… has two brothers (Dwayne and Markie) and two sisters (Carla and Porsche).
