Alun Lan is a dedicated and aspiring graduate student, currently pursuing a B.S. in Cybersecurity and Financial Technology, with a minor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Expected to graduate in May 2025, Alun's academic journey is marked by excellence, earning him a GPA of 3.4. Alun's passion for sports extends beyond the classroom, as reflected in his A.S. in Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude, from Middlesex College in Edison, NJ.

Alun possesses a diverse skill set that spans leadership, player development, organization, and creating scouting reports. His strong verbal communication skills make him an effective motivator and team builder. Alun is well-versed in program development, well-acquainted with NCAA DIII regulations, and embraces the DIII philosophy with enthusiasm.

With a commitment to sports, Alun serves as a Volleyball Coordinator at i9 Sports in Livingston, NJ, where he runs clinics for young volleyball enthusiasts, recruits coaches, and strategically markets i9 programs to the community. Moreover, he has contributed to the growth of men's volleyball as a Men's Assistant Volleyball Coach at Middlesex College, actively scouting potential talent and ensuring academic compliance for student-athletes.

Alun's coaching journey has seen him as the Head Coach at Central Jersey Volleyball Academy, where he led and mentored teams with precision, focusing on game preparation and college recruitment guidance. His passion for coaching extends back to his time as the Head Volleyball Coach at Central Jersey Heat Volleyball, where he coached and mentored young athletes, imparting essential skills and techniques.

Beyond his academic and coaching endeavors, Alun has a rich playing experience. He has contributed his talents to various teams, such as The Club at Woodbridge, Thiel College, Rutgers New Brunswick Men's Club, Marvel Volunteers, and GEVA Nationals, showcasing his dedication to the sport.

Alun's leadership qualities and achievements extend beyond sports. He is a Fellow in America Needs You, selected for a prestigious two-year career development and leadership training program. As part of the Leadership Committee, he actively recruits first-generation college students and hosts informational sessions about the program. He has been recognized with the EOF Graduate Achievement Award for outstanding academic achievement, maintaining a GPA of 3.5-3.99.
