Ayala chose Rutgers University-Newark because her father played basketball here, and she wanted to play the sport she loved while staying close to home... Her parents are Delia and Felix Ayala... She played at VB Rags Volleyball Academy... She earned All League and All County honors in High School... Her favorite movie is High School Musical 2 and her favorite athlete is Kathryn Plummer... She enjoys reading as well as both grass and beach volleyball... Ayala wants to be remembered for her leadership, and for how passionate she is about volleyball.
