PROFILE OF THE WEEK (Oct. 17, 2012)

NOTES: Three-year starter at setter who has amassed 1,926 career assists… has averaged 7.41 assists per game… totals of 645 digs, 98 kills, 72 service aces and 27 blocks.

JUNIOR (2012): Primary setter for who helped Scarlet Raiders to a 15-13 record and an ECAC Metro playoff berth… totaled 747 assists (7.78 average) while adding 290 digs, 36 aces and 35 kills while getting in on 10 blocks… topped the 30-assist plateau 10 times… tallied double digit digs 17 times… named NJAC Defensive Player of the Week (9/30)… piled up a season high 42 assists plus a career high 20 digs in a 3-2 loss to Ramapo (9/13)… also had 42 assists plus 11 digs and five kills in a 3-1 win over Mt. St. Vincent (10/2)… registered 41 assists, 18 digs, an ace and two assisted blocks in a 3-2 loss to Rutgers-Camden (10/25)… roped a career high seven aces in a 3-0 win over New Rochelle (9/1).

SOPHOMORE (2011):  Started in every match at setter, averaging 7.15 assists and 2.38 digs per set for the 8-19 Raiders… distributed 665 of the team’s 765 assists while adding 26 aces, 38 kills and six assisted blocks for 67.0 points… had 30+ assists in seven matches highlighted by a career-high 51 in a 3-1 win over Montclair State (10/6/11)… had seven double-digit dig days and six matches in which she delivered multiple aces… piled up 39 assists with a dozen digs, four aces and four kills in a 3-1 win over Bridgewater State (9/3/11)… notched 37 assists with nine digs and an ace in a 3-2 loss to William Paterson (9/22/11)… posted a career-high 19 digs to go along with 28 assists, an ace and two kills in a 3-2 loss at Rowan (10/20/11)… tallied 33 assists, 18 digs, four kills and an ace in a 3-1 loss to Mount St. Mary (10/25/11)… had career-high four aces in back-to-back losses to Bridgewater State (9/3/11) and Merchant Marine (9/6/11).

FRESHMAN (2010): Played in 21 matches while earning 14 starting assignments for the 10-18 Raiders… paced team in assists (514) and assist average (7.24) while ranking fourth on the squad in digs (134) and digs average (1.89)… had over 30 assists in six matches led by a career-high 44 in a 3-2 loss to William Paterson (9/23)… piled up 40 assists to help Raiders hit .291 in a 3-1 win over Staten Island (10/2)… had 34 assists as R-N hit a season-high .323 in a season-ending 3-0 win over Bard (10/30)… posted five double-digit dig matches topped by 13 digs to go along with 32 assists and a pair of aces in a 3-0 loss to Montclair State (10/7)… had 39 assists and a dozen digs in a 3-2 loss to Ramapo (9/16)… totaled 25 kills, 10 aces, a solo block and 10 assisted blocks in 71 sets.

HIGH SCHOOL: First team all-conference as a senior at Parsippany HS… three-year letterwinner who holds Red Hawk records for assists in a career and in a season… senior squad went 19-9. 

PERSONAL: Majoring in criminal justice at R-N…daughter of Olga and Sergio Mendoza… has one older sister (Andrea).
