Rutgers-Newark Athletics

SOPHOMORE (2014): Saw action in three matches for the 17-12 Scarlet Raiders who reached the ECAC Metro/Upstate semifinals… totaled four digs in three games… came up with two digs in a 3-0 win over Purchase (9/13/14).

FRESHMAN (2013): Saw action in 10 matches for the 8-16 Scarlet Raiders… totaled 19 digs in 14 games… notched a season-high seven digs in a 3-1 loss to Manhattanville (9/28/13)… posted three digs in back-to-back appearances against William Paterson (10/15/13) and New Rochelle (10/22/13).

HIGH SCHOOL: Second team all-league junior and senior year and MVP at Lodi HS… earned three letters and team captain for the Rams… academic honors in National Honor Society, Social Studies Student of the Year and perfect attendance.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Mary and Jose Villegas… has an older brother (Miguel)…plans to major in accounting… played for North Jersey Volleyball Club for three years.
