Rutgers-Newark Athletics

FRESHMAN (2008): Walked on to become a starter, tallying 51.5 points... finished season with 38 kills, 12 aces and 70 digs...notched career-highs of 7.0 points, six kills and an ace in a 3-0 win over Medgar Evers (10/18/08)... collected four kills and roped an ace in a 3-0 loss to FDU-Florham (10/23/08)... came up with a career-high seven digs to go along with a pair of aces in a 3-0 loss to Centenary (9/9/08)... also had two aces, three kills and five digs in a 3-1 win over Manhattanville (10/25/08). 

HIGH SCHOOL: Honorable mention The Record All-Bergen County in both volleyball and softball at Queen of Peace HS… two-year letterwinner in volleyball who was a team captain as well as “most dedicated” as a senior… a three-year letterwinner and a senior co-captain for the Golden Griffins softball squad.

PERSONAL: An academic junior majoring in business management who is competing in her first year of athletics at Rutgers-Newark… plans to play softball for the Scarlet Raiders this spring.
