POMONA, NJ – Rutgers-Newark sophomore Toni Moppert and junior Na-Keta Michael each posted two kills and a block, but Richard Stockton powered its way to a 3-0 New Jersey Athletic Conference women's volleyball win. Set scores were 25-5, 25-10, 25-8.

The Scarlet Raiders (1-23, 1-5) also got four assist and a kill from junior setter Gabi Mangieri while junior middle blocker Crystal Navarro added two kills and an assisted block.

Becca Sims hammered down 10 kills to pace league-leading Richard Stockton (17-7, NJAC 6-0) which ran its streak of consecutive wins over NJAC opponents to 19 while winning for the 11th time in its last 13 matches. Stephanie Warner and Christine Velott added nine kills apiece to help fuel the Orprey attack which hit at an astonishing .603 clip (41 kills, 6 errors, 58 attacks).

Rutgers-Newark visits Western Connecticut on Saturday for a noon non-conference match on Saturday.
