Amber Affholter delivered a single, a double, a triple and three RBIs, but Rutgers-Newark fell to Utica College, 6-4, in the Rebel Spring Games.

The Scarlet Raiders (1-4) out hit the Pioneers (2-4), 12-11, but four Rutgers-Newark errors proved the difference in the contest.
Affholter ripped an RBI triple to center field in the first to give the Raiders an early lead and hammered a 2-run double to center in the fourth to knot the score at 3-3, but Utica came up with a run in the fifth and two unearned runs in the sixth to get the victory.
